Loveworks is an East Surrey based charity with a mission to help improve the lives of our local community through food.

In 2023 we handed out over 3000 food parcels to individuals and families in our local area, who otherwise could have gone hungry. This emergency food is given to people who have been referred in crisis, for example, by debt advice agencies, GPs, social services and schools.

Food banks however are not the long term solution. This is why we work closely with people to help them become less dependant on food bank support. At Loveworks we are passionate about working to prevent food poverty. Some of our projects are aimed at working towards this. 

• Our allotment provides fresh fruit and vegetables to our community
• Cookery classes are aimed at helping people make the most of the food that they have

Whilst we work to change the dependency on food banks, for the time being they are essential and demand is growing. This is why we need and appreciate your support.
